Smarter Financial recognised the need for an AI/Data Insight solution to provide value from Open Banking Data. Open Banking is a major drive for the FCA to provide services that benefit customers using financial transaction data. Helping clients save money and make transparent where losses may be occurring in their accounts – known as leaks.
Beyond Applications launched a MVP of the SmartBill application within 6 months and into production in the following 3 months. SmartBill has been featured in several UK major press releases and is a leading solution for B2C and B2B markets.
The technology uses both AI and other analytical models. Beyond’s multi-capability model ensures all the technology requirements for Smarter Financial is found in one place.
THE SUMMIT

Ketan is responsible for the company’s technological vision, implementing these strategies and directing clients tech roadmaps. Ketan is a winner of the ‘Microsoft Digital Britain Technology award’, he has worked in Derivatives Front-Office at JPMorgan Chase, Lehman Brothers, Goldman Sachs and as a consultant at Accenture. Ketan is a chess whiz! He loves music and is an amateur guitar player. He likes to keep fit with climbing and boxing.
Anil keeps us in line, he guides our planning, communications and documentation of projects. He closely works with the technical team, stakeholders and clients to achieve key deliveries on time and within budget. Anil is a keen gardener and fish keeper, in his spare time he likes to workout and enjoys playing all kinds of sports, especially Cricket and Badminton.
Working from Software Developer to Head of IT and Technical Architect, Ryan has experienced first hand the value and revolution of UI/UX built on a solid infrastructure. Responsible for guiding our front end Developers, pulling apart process to improve user journeys and working closely with clients to craft great products. In his spare time Ryan loves Tai Chi, Paying Mantis Kung Fu, spicy veggie food, his young family and dog!
Smeeta’s role is to direct and grow the business. Smeeta is hands on with business opportunities and managing client relationships. Previously Smeeta worked with global start-ups and big 5 organisations including IBM, Serco and IMS to deliver large scale businesses strategies and technical applications. Smeeta is an amateur photographer, artist and a scrabble whiz. She tutors mathematics and statistics to assist those from disadvantaged backgrounds.
Bindesh loves pulling resources and skills together to fuse our talented teams. Bindesh maintains the smooth operation of the company by making administrative and financial decisions. Bindesh enjoys Cricket, Volleyball, Badminton and Tennis! He is a keen mountain climber and active trekker.
